The following conditions apply to reservations made for the Kätkänpätkä villa. The operator (Kätkänpätkä) reserves the right to apply special conditions that differ from these in case of holidays, special events, seasonality, natural disasters, or additional services.
1. Reservation
Name, address, contact details, and arrival and departure dates are required when making a reservation. The booking is binding once confirmed on the booking page of the website. The accommodation provider reserves the right to apply different rules, such as a booking fee. See below for more details.
2. Arrival and Departure
The booked villa will be available from 17.00 on the day of your arrival (check-in time). On the day of departure, the villa must be vacated by 11:00 noon (check-out time). The property reserves the right to make exceptions to the above check-in and check-out times. For security reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed in the private areas and the maximum capacity of the villa can not be exceeded. All reservations must be paid in full in advance. Our host will be in contact with the booking agent to arrange arrival details.
3. Booking Confirmation
The Hideaway reserves the right to require a full payment on advance to guarantee the reservation. A mandatory deposit of 30% of the total amount is always required at the time of booking. All reservations must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full payment is required at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation Policy
Reservations must be rescheduled or canceled at least 60 days prior to arrival. No cancellations will be accepted less than 60 days prior to arrival. However, if you cancel less than 60 days prior to arrival, we will charge a processing fee of €200. If the reservation is not paid in full 30 days prior to arrival, the accommodation provider reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund and the reservation fee will not be refunded. If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact info@katkanpatka.fi as soon as possible.
5. Payment
An invoice will be sent to the customer after the booking has been made. Once the invoice has been paid, the booking is confirmed. The final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
6. Behavior in the Villa
We observe good manners and respectful behavior on our property. If you break these rules or conditions, you may be immediately removed from the premises or property. In such cases, you will still be required to pay for the accommodation and additional services you have booked. You will not be entitled to a refund of any payments already made. For security reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed in private areas, including inside the villa, and the maximum capacity of the villa must not be exceeded.
7. Responsibility for valuables
The accommodation provider is not responsible for any valuables or personal belongings stored in the villa. The accommodation provider is not responsible for damage to or loss of vehicles parked in the parking lot.
8. Liability for damages
As a guest, you are responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests, whether intentionally or accidentally, to the villa or other premises. This includes furniture and other equipment in the villa, other guests on the premises or their property. Liability for damage caused is governed by general principles, these terms and conditions or applicable law.
9. Rental to minors
Only persons over 18 years of age may make reservations. An adult who makes a reservation for a person under the age of 18 years is responsible for the minor, whether or not the adult stays with the minor.
10. Responsibility and Maximum Capacity
The reservation holder is responsible for the entire group and all its members visiting/traveling together under the same reservation. The maximum capacity of the villa is 12 people and cannot be exceeded.
11. Final Cleaning
Final cleaning is included in the rental price. However, guests must leave the cottage in a reasonably clean condition. The cottage reserves the right to charge an extra cleaning fee if the property is left too dirty. Extra cleaning charges start at €200.
12. Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the villa.
13. Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the villa.
